Metiș, formerly Metișdorf, (in German Martinsdorf, in the Saxon dialect Mättersdorf, Metesdorf, in Hungarian Martonfalva, Szászmártonfalva, Mártonfalva) is a village in the commune of Mihăileni in Sibiu County, Transylvania, Romania.
The village is first mentioned in 1278, other sources indicate the founding of the village in 1290 by Count Nikolaus von Talmesch.
The Evangelical-Lutheran Church from Metiș is mentioned for the first time in 1414. However, the construction of the building began in the 14th century.
