Breebaartpolder

The Breebaartpolder exists since 1979. The Foundation het Groninger Landschap bought the area in 1991. There is an open relation between the polder and the Dollard: through a culvert, duiker, in Dutch, the ties are visible in the polder. The sea brings deposit on the socalled slikvelden, that attrack birds. On the eastdyke you can see regularly a group of seals on low tide.
