St Anne’s Church (Bruges)

Belgium / West-Flandern / Brugge / Bruges / Sint-Annaplein, 1
listed building / architectural heritage, Roman Catholic church, 17th century construction

The tiny square is dominated by the apparently simple church of Saint Anne. Her exterior may be austere, her interior on the other hand is one of Bruges’ most splendid baroque examples. As this neighbourhood gradually went upmarket, so did the church, naturally!
