The museum is housed in the hospital for Our Lady of the Pottery.
The complex was founded around 1276.
In 1529 a new building was put down, which are partly preserved, including the south facade.
The church, from which one can enter the hospital, dating from the 14th century.
The museum consists of paintings, mainly made in the 16th and 17th centuries.
The collection also includes many household items and furniture from the past and a valuable collection of silver and gold.
