Pylons that used to support a 24km aerial cableway (Italian: teleferica) across the bay from saltpans on the mainland to jetty at Hafun (Xaafuun). Built in the 1920s, out of use since the early 1940s.

  • These pilings are about 400 feet apart, too far for a bridge. More likely they are transmission towers for a power line.
