Delivered to the "Spittin Kittens" of the US Air Force's 5th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron at Suffolk County Air Force Base, S/N 56-1505 is an "A" model of the Convair F-102 Delta Dagger Supersonic Interceptor Aircraft. Serving its career with the 5th FIS, 56-1505 relocated with the 5th from Suffolk County AFB to Minot Air Force Base in February 1960 where she operated briefly in frontline service as part of the US Air Defense Command before the 5th transferred to the F-106 Delta Dart.

Operational thereafter with the 178th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron of the North Dakota Air National Guard, 56-1505 completed her USAF service in 1969 and spent several years in storage before being returned to Minot Air Force Base for use as a static display and memorial aircraft. The aircraft is now displayed in the markings of the 5th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron.
