The Godfather (also known as Mario Puzo's The Godfather) is a 1972 American drama film based on the 1969 novel of the same name by Mario Puzo and directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

This location was used for the wedding scene, at the Corleone compound on 'Long Island', although Staten Island was used instead. The outdoor festivities were staged in the garden of 120 Longfellow Road, in the affluent neighborhood of Emerson Hill.
