Activities to be enjoyed include boating, fishing, camping, picnicking, unsupervised swimming in the river, bird watching, hiking, walking, and cycling.

The part of the park north of the road (by the river) is the day use area. The part south of the road is the camping / cabin area. The park used to be operated by the state, but the state turned it over to the city about 5 years ago (for some reason).

This park is no longer a State Park
