Lookout Tower

On the tip of this pier is a nifty lookout tower. Like many of the attractions in Port Angeles though, I would suggest not visiting it after nightfall.

This tower also houses some of the finest graffiti known to man. Heed the words of the post on the second level: "Drink tussin, huff gas, smoke crack, EVERY DAY."

  • Once upon a time, 10 years or so ago, this was my favorite spot in Port Angeles. Here, while visiting my grandchildren, I'd walk down before they woke in the morning, and enjoy an early morning morning cup of coffee and poppyseed muffin while sitting in the tower with my Mini-schnauzer, "Scooter" and watch the harbor come to life.
