This rocky summit is 5220 feet asl. A trail leads from forest road 1509 to the top. A primitive lookout platform was built on the summit in 1915, and was replaced by a more substantial cabin in 1926. The lookout was decommissioned in 1967; today nothing remains but some concrete foundation posts. Views from the top encompass the Three Sisters and Mount Jefferson. To the east, separated from the summit by a forested saddle, stands a rocky pinnacle.
