Second World War 1939-1945, ruins, anti-tank trench / embankment
During WW2 many anti-tank ditches were constructed, but very few remains still exist. This one is at Potters Bar Golf Club. The most ambitious was the London Defensive Ring, which encircled the whole capital, but which has now almost completely been removed as it lay on the route of what is now the M25.
