This school was used as a location in Stanley Kubrick's controversial 1971 film A Clockwork Orange, starring Malcolm McDowell. It was used as the house of the Cat Lady (Miriam Karlin), who lives alone with her cats and runs Woodmere Health Farm, there Alex DeLarge (McDowell) and his droogs (Michael Tarn, James Marcus and Warren Clarke) trick their way into the house and violently assault her.
