This house was used longtime in the past century by family Top. The father, Menko, worked the whole year at the farm on the Norritsveld, at the northern side of the Rijksstraatweg.
South of the Rijksstraatweg, eastward of the Kolk, is another workman´s house, arbeiderswoning. One of them is a monument recognized by the Dutch government, rijkserkend monument.
