  • What was your granny's name? My ancestors were born there too.
  • My Granny was Catherine O'connor her family owned a farm on there and my mother used to have her summer holidays there I have only been the once that I can remember.
  • My grandmother was Bridget McInerney who came to the U.S. as a child with her mother, Mary Ginnane McInerney. They lived on Inishmacowney (Horse Island), where Mary's husband John died. She brought 6 children to the U.S. with her.
