Ateneo de Davao University is a premiere Filipino, Catholic and Jesuit University founded by the Philippine Province of the Society of Jesus in year 1948 which aims to establish a standard of excellence in academic and spiritual formation in various fields.

While the Ateneo continuously endeavors to maintain a strong tradition of academic excellence, it also strives to realize its mission of being stronger in faith to God's ultimate plan.   • HELLO! cityhigh? omg. ateneo vs cityhigh?? maybe before(50's-80's), mtaas tlga ang standards ng school na yan. but now, look! it's inevitable nman tlaga n may mga intelligent studes in every school. WAKE UP, dude! im not against cityhigh though.

  • hahahahaha... ateneo de davao is one of the best! dili ko kaloko sa ubang skuls pero mas kuyaw jud ang addu... hahahaha... suya lang mo... sa 2009 records. AdDU ranks 5th nationwide after AdMU(ranking 1)! hahahahaha... besides, dili lang academic standards! Pati sports... Soccer, Volleyball, Badminton, and ako varsity team na basketball! Dili mi naga recruit pero gahi gihapon... kanang uban? Cge recruit! stuya ra... dili p jud kabalo mag basketball, boxing ang nabal-an... Haahhahaha...

  • haha nakakatawa kayo please. :)) Magaling nga ang Ateneo pero hindi ibig sabihin magaling rin ang mga studyante. The curriculum is good, there are exceptional teachers, but very few students actually strive for Magis (seriously, not even the entire honors class strives for Magis). Sa totoo lang, the students are very protected and close-minded. And even immature. But that's high school, what can one expect? Regarding the mahangin thing, I must admit, Ateneans can be "mahangin." But hell, aren't you proud of your own school? It's pretty much school pride. With the mata-pobre thing, I believe there are a few lost souls who haven't opened their eyes yet, and they ruin the image for everyone else. Not everyone is like that, believe me. Ateneo offers its students a lot of opportunities to be men and women for others, but it's really up to the students whether they'll take it or not. :)
