Entrance to the CTA Blue Line at Division and Milwaukee is situated in an intersection triangle that features the Nelson Algren Fountain, quite a few trees, and a sizable pigeon population. Polonia Triangle is usually the endpoint of Critical Mass, a bike riding event that snakes through the city, and can cause traffic delays where cyclists congregate at the end of each ride. Great to participate in, but noteworthy to avoid if you're looking to transverse this intersection on the first friday evening of every month.
