Great for basketball, racquetball, etc. the tennis court has actually been torn down(as of 3/26/08) due to it being cracked and damaged but supposedly the city of glendale plans on bringing it back as they did with the basketball court. it's a great place for frisbee but like all parks around here, it would be wise not to play after 10pm because you will be kicked out by fascists. it's an open field of grass that is even lit at night(for what reason, i do not know) but come 10pm every night it closes. this concept just boggles my mind. you know, some people have to work during the day(the majority of people) and this is arizona. you would have to be insane to throw a frisbee or play basketball in 120 degree weather. unfortunately the only time available for such activities is while this PARK is closed. i highly doubt three people throwing a frisbee at night is going to wake up the neighbors... considering this park is directly parallel to a gosh darn MAJOR STREET! sigh.
