  • Rorya, Mara, Tanzania is my home town; I want it to appear into my profire.
  • it is very importaant to give out all details of this region for the benefit of the people who intend to know more about it
  • Rorya is my home district. However, the Waluo tend to dominate the whole affairs of the district specifically in administration by extra-strong lobbying, hence undermining other ethnicity groups. They enjoy cultural relationship with other groups staying in the Northern part of River Mori - Nyancha and Girango divisions as well as the Luo-Imbo where they stay in numbers towards the only Suba division dwellers.
  • As one among the native, I feel as part and parcel of my district (Rorya). Its amazing that we live in areas endowed with arable land of 130,481 hectors with only population of 265,241 and still faced with anger and AIDS. While among 17 km2 suitable for irrigation we irrigate only 1 km2. The industries though mentioned in reality are not practiced in a economically progressive way. Rory's let us change our attitudes and posses a knowledge of using potential we have, let Local Government, Educated, rich's and poor be aware of our problem and become with common objectives of development with desire to cast away these shame of hanger, AIDS, poverty, poor education and non-productive/low industrial investment. GOD BLESS ANYONE WITH GOOD ATTITUDE TOWARD RORYA DISTRICT. "GOD BLESS RORYA!!"
