City of Douglas [www.cityofdouglas.com/web/facilities.php] museum celebrating the memories of, past railroad service, provided by the Georgia & Florida Railway. On the route of G & F's famed Bon-Air Special passenger train and with freight service rumoured to fly like a "blue goose." Douglas was once the home of the railway's shop complex, where the locomotives were maintained and repaired. There is an adjoining art gallery. The ROSE Tea Room, as well, is part of the offerings of this site.
