Site of an infamous railcar "escape" in the last decade of the twentieth century.
The famous blue rail car and it's "keepers", parted ways, inadvertently, one
Sunday afternoon. An observant lad asked the Puzzle Switches(traffic dispatcher)
operator: "Hey Mister, where'd that blue car go?" He replied: "It's right where
it's been since I came to work this morning," spinning around in his chair to point
out the car to his inquisitor. Much to his chagrin, the 85 foot long rail car, had
"vanished." It is rumoured, that from nearby, lofty heights, and nearly a mile down
the track(s), a long blue railroad car was being "persued" by two clowns, one
who was observed throwing a broom stick and other detritis under the slowing
runaway, while the other, nursing a highball, was overheard yelling obscenities,
while trotting alongside the rolling circus fiasco, trying to climb aboard.
"Confusion to the enemy?" Indeed. Ed, HW, Jeb, Earl, Karl, W., John. Et tu.
