This is the site of the former community of Easonville. All of the residents were moved, including the dead ones in cemeteries, when the community was flooded by the construction of the Logan Martin Dam and the creation of Logan Martin Lake. Roadbeds of the former community still exist on the river's bed, as well as some home foundations.
