Roman Houses

Spain / Cadiz / Tarifa /
 house, basilica

These houses were probably linked to the salting industry, as the factory owners' dwelling or rooms belonging to the factories. Both houses were organised around a patio with portico, with an almost square shape. The remains of staircases confirm that both houses had a top floor. One was located to the east and the other to the west of the cardus maximus.
