Thipparthy is a historical village in Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh. This is 24 kilometers away from Miryalguda, and 120 kilometers away from the state capital of Hyderabad. It is near Suryapet.The village was a Taluk in the past. Currently it is a Mandal Head Quarter. Due to its geographical location, it has remained undeveloped.

Although the village plays a key role in district politics, the people and the village have been neglected by all political parties. Attempts were now made to include all the villages in to one administrative region which was previously into Nalgonga and Nakerekal region.

Initiatives in developing the mandal has started from past few years. Nabard work has helped in improving the aminities in the surrounding villages. The mandal now has drinking water facility and proud to say that the mandal now hosts a Water Canal that flows althrough the Mandal for Irrigation purpose.

Sardar Chakkilam Srinivas Rao hailed from this village, he was a brave leader who fought against rajakars and communists.
