  • Correction: One of the oldest not really the oldest, because UST still holds the record.
  • @ kingtim: If you compare data from Wikipedia, UST has the oldest extant university charter in the Philippines and Asia. Founded April 28, 1611. But USC was established in 1595 as Colegio de San Ildefonso by Spanish Jesuits.. Either way, it is for you to decide which is which..
