Akora Khattak

Pakistan / North-West Frontier / Akora /

A town on the river Kabul bank, with a population of more than 100,000.
Pashto is the major language spoken in the town followed by Hindko. Most of the people can speak both Pashto and Hindko. This place is a beautiful blend of people speaking two different languages and living like one family.

Major portion of the town is residential, surrounded by farm lands on three sides and North side is bounded by the River Kabul flowing from West to East. Across the river is a small town named "Misri Banda" extending up in the hills range that is stretched along the river. People travel across the river back and forth all day long using motor-boats and motor-lifts.
