A shopping center straddling two levels, the Shoppes at Springfield Park once hosted a standalone Strawbridge's department store as one of its first retailers.

Today, a Target store occupies the former Strawbridge's space. The opening of the business was overly successful for the area, and soon other tenants moved in: Bed Bath and Beyond, Old Country Buffet, Krispy Kreme Donuts (later becoming Chick-Fil-A) and Houlihan's (later becoming Famous Dave's Barbecue).

Access to the center gan be gained from both Baltimore Pike and Lincoln Avenue (PA 420).
