The oldest high school in the district, the current Issaquah High School was built in 1962 after the first campus (where the Julius Boehm pool now sits) burned down. Issaquah High School's team is the Eagles, a recent change from their longtime name of the Indians. Almost all students resent the name change because they feel the new name is very ordinary.
