  I am suffered TB from last one year. Currently Its has developed to MDR inspite of continuous medicine. Currently i am taking treatment from Appolo. My major problem is that there are some balls at the left side of my neck. some time its reduces and some time its increases its size and number. It creates some pain. Currently I am taking OFLOX400, MYSER, SPECTROMYSINE 1 MG I.V, R CINAX 600 , ZEVIOT. The tretment from Appolo is continued since last 2 months and prior to this it was with some other doctor. Please Advise are ; 1. Is current treatment proper? 2. Is this deciase curable? 3. How long it will take time to be proper? 4. Is there any suggestion by which I can be cured early. Mob 9815999918

  dear mr. agarwal, i did my phd at tuberculosis research centre. TB is 100% curable including MDR-TB. but the most important thing in TB treatment is that you should take your medicines without fail and should never discontinue your treatment without doctors advice. since once discontinued the treatment would no longer be effective. the balls near your throat might be due to the enlargement of lymph glands. it will settle down automatically. good rest, healthy food, yoga and meditation will improve your immune power and help in speedy recovery. god bless you. aravindhan

  I WAS RECOMMENDED BY AN US EMPLOYER WHILE THEY GAVE ME AN OFFER FOR US ARMY BASE JOB THAT I NEED TO TAKE A QUANTIFERON GOLD TB TEST.MY TEST RESULT WAS POSITIVE AND I HAD LOST THAT JOB OFFER.ASS PER THEM THERE IS A TREATMENT LONGING 60-90 DAYS FOR THIS CASE. I HAVE VISITED A PRIVATE DOCTOR IN CHENNAI AND APPROACHED GOVERNMENT TB HOSPITAL IN CHENNAI. AFTER SEEING MY TEST REPORT OF SPUTUM, BLOOD, X-RAY THEY SAY THAT I AM GOOD, NO NEED OF MEDICINE. THEY CANT ADVISE MEDICINE FOR ME BECAUSE I HAVE NO SYMPTOMS OF TB OR ANY INFECTION FOUND.BUT MY MANTOUX REPORT IS POSITIVE AS 20MM. THEY ALL SAY I CANT GET ANY MEDICINE IN INDIA FOR THIS. BUT MY US EMPLOYER SAYS IF GET TREATMENT AND REDO THE QUANTIFERON TEST WITH NEGATIVE RESULT, I CAN BE OFFERED A JOB.PLEASE HELP METO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. MOBIL# 9840162971
