Riverside monument created as part of the city's 2002 bicentennial celebration. The monument features bronze statues of military and civilian service personnel, 12 foot clocks facing both river and land, and a 30 bell carillon. Every hour, the peal of bells can be heard from this monument built to honor the struggles of the “everyday man.” Smokestack-styled columns frame the monument, memorializing Lawrenceburg's river heritage. This is the largest monument of its kind in the United States.
