Also known as the Snow Cloud. This claim originally one of 250 filed by Chester Pinkham, after whom Pinkham Canyon is named. Bill Keys, who once owned the Desert Queen Ranch in what is now Joshua Tree National Park and many local mines, bought the mine in 1918 and worked it himself.
