The track opened as a 1/4 mile dirt oval in 1956, operating through 1961. It reopened in 1998. It was expanded to 4/10 mile in 1991, operating in this form through 2002. It reopened in 2005 before closing. Reopened in 2009 by Jimmy Franklin. The track has also operated as the Golden Corner Speedway in the past.
