race track -dont use, historical layer / disappeared object
This site was the locale of the one & only Augusta "510", a NASCAR event held November 17, 1963. Won by Glenn "Fireball" Roberts. Race shortened due to darkness. The track owner went bankrupt shortly after and the track never held another race. Much of the site now a public park. Remains of the racetrack (3.0 Miles, approx. 12 turns) can clearly be seen. No fewer than 5 participants in this race, including Roberts, would die in racing related accidents within a year.
