Tippu Khan Bridge was built by Late Nawab Tipu Khan Bahadur, a high ranking official, adviser and taught Horse Riding to H.E.H The Nizam VI Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan Bahadur. This Bridge was built in the year 1910 A.D by his own income for the purpose of public use.   • Tipu Khan Bridge was built by the Army Engineers of the former rulers of the Qutb Shahi dynasty and is named after a high ranking official Tipu Khan who was instumental in bulding this bridge over the Moosa (Musi) River tributary from Osman Sagar (sagar means lake).
