Wonderful place to stay and eat. The fact that it is owned by TVs 'Hotel Inspector' and her husband means that it has a lot to live up to, but it delivers in spades. Excellent food in the restaurant and ideal for those people who hate being 'fussed' by the staff. Lots of local produce. Rooms are extremely comfortable and the Garden rooms can be recommended, despite their quirky appearance from the outside. Dog owners are welcome and there is even a special table in the restaurant (round the corner from the main room) for people who cannot bear to leave their pooch.
