Opened in 1954, Ross Residence Hall is named after the 19th president of Butler, Maurice O’Rear Ross, and serves as a coed residence hall that accommodates primarily first-year students. Ross offers four specialty units: two Living Learning Centers for men; one Living Learning Center for women; and one Substance-Free Unit.
