Cyprus is a wonderful island of contrasts. Where else could you ski in the morning and then be sunning yourself by the pool or on the beach in the afternoon? The snows on Mount Olympus are a fabulous way of spending a winter morning in the Ski Cyprus arena.

  • why do you post nonsense info, taken out from tourist leaflets? you make it sound like skiers paradise. in fact there is only one decent small slope. abt 400 metres long and abt 100 mt altitude difference. its only one T-bar serving this slope and is very busy because of the kids from the ski school cutting the queue. and the daily price for this T-bar is around 25 EURO(you pay less in Austria for hundreds of km of slope and tens of ski lifts). Not to mention that in the last two years there were no more than 10 weekends with enough snow for skiing. And when there is snow up in the mountains, the maximum temparature on the coastal towns is in the low 10's Celsius. Same for the sea temparature. Cant see how nino was enjoing skiing and sunbathing in the afternoon. By the way, it get dark around 4 pm. Please stop smoking pot and posting .
  • Past season was incredible good with a good snow base and skiing foem mid Dec to mid Marc. Unfortunately the lifts were shut down at mid March however they had enough snow to operate the skiresort longer. It would be possible to operate the lift well into April. BTW, they built a chairlift for the season 08/09. If the snow is good, it's a magnificant mountain with amazoing view to the sea. do you have in Austra a skiresort so close to the sea. It's an absolutely exotic ski location with breattaking view and nice ambient.
