On July 25, 1910, Prime Minister Sir Wilfred Laurier and Bishop Albert Pascal assisted in laying the cornerstone of St. Paul’s Church. Designed by J.E. Fortin in a Latin cross, this Romanesque structure, with a square tower, is topped with an octagonal belfry and spire. A chime of Paccard bells was installed in 1911 and they can still be heard calling the faithful to worship every Sunday. A welcoming area, new entrance and meeting room have been added to the west side.
