In the days of SAC's 305th Bomb Wing, encompassing apx. 1958-1970, with B-47s from '58-'61 and B-58s from '61, this building served as Base Ops for Bunker Hill AFB (renamed Grissom in 1968). It is topped with the original base control tower. The building is abandoned as of June, 2002.
