Another landmark bites the dust. Levittown Roller rink building torn down except for 2 walls and rebuilt to look like everything else. My parents skated there, I skated there and sadly my kids will never get to do so.

  • I too was an avid skater at Levittown Roller Rink on Friday Saturday and sometimes Sunday nights. I made so many friends there who to this day I still keep in touch with BayShoreRoller Rink was my next home after Levittown closed and I take many friends and memories from there also. Just a shame the kids of today will never know what it meant to look forward to a night of skating, hanging out with good friends, listening to good music, dancing and even Burger King and Rocky Horror afterwards. RIP Levittown Roller Rink So many of us will take you with us forever even if your building is now gone!!! :o)
  • I was from east Meadow. And i practicly lived @ the Levittown R/Rink/ Also Fri Sat and Some sunday. And Rocky horror and BK.?????It makes me so sad when i drive by thre and see nothing but an ugly office bldg. Alexandria Nelson
  • I skated at Levittown in the early and mid 70's, and also played roller hockey there. believe it or not, after all these years, i still think about those days. so much fun with great people!
