AGCL (Assam Gas Company Ltd), was established on March 31,1962 a private limited wholly owned by the Government of Assam to carry out all kinds of business related to natural gas in India. It has its present headquarters in the oil town of Duliajan in the district of Dibrugarh, Assam, India. The Company entered into the gas transmission business in the year 1965 and stands today as one of the premier companies in India to be in the Natural gas transmission and distribution business.
