Joss Mountain

Canada / British Columbia / Revelstoke /
mountain, interesting place, historical building, lookout tower

On top of this 2386 metre peak is an old forestry lookout that was originally built in 1921. Despite being disused since 1930, the building remained in remarkably good condition through the years. In recent years the lookout has been restored and maintained by local snowmobile clubs.

The old pack trails from Joss Pass and from Greenbush Lake are still used for hiking to the mountaintop.
