The Guilderland Weekend Training Site, also known as Guilderland Range, is used by members of the New York Army and Air National Guard and by New York State Police and local law enforcement agencies for weapons training and qualification.
Located about 20 miles west of Albany, the site includes a cantonment area, a rifle and pistol range, and terrain that can be used for infantry training. The training area encompasses 1,613 acres, but because many of these acres are in wetland only 200 acres are used for training. The ranges cover 41 acres.
