A detachment of the nearby CFB Trenton. Here you can see old Royal Canadian Air Force mothballed planes...at least from the road. The airfield is used by C-130, C-130J and C-17 crews to train for landing on unprepared runways. It also contains several drop zones for cargo and personnel drops by parachute.

Used as a training facility by the Central Region Gliding School as part of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
