The FJ-4B Fury was the US Navy version of the highly successful US Air Force F-86 Sabre, and carried five Martin Bullpup missiles and four nose mounted 20mm cannons for low altitude attack. The aircraft's Wright TurboJet engine produced a maximum speed of 680mph at sea level.

Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park's FJ-4B served aboard the USS Lexington (CV-16) and USS Midway (CV-41) during its career and is displayed in the markings of US Navy Attack Squadron 126 (VA-126).
