This complex is part of the Texas A&M Research and Extension Center. The Research and Extension Center was actually founded at this location, but has since been moved to its new location closer to I-10. The 'Farm' as TAMU (Texas A&M University) Employee's call it, is now home to a number of Research Teams dedicated to help advance agricultural knowledge. The Facility houses a number of highly specialized labs, many of which belong to a research team dedicated to learning and solving water quality and desalinzation issues.
