Loudoun Heights is the the first peak of the Blue Ridge Mountain south of the Potomac River in Loudoun County, Virginia and Jefferson County, West Virginia.
The Appalachian Trail travels along the ridge of Loudoun Heights before descending to cross the Shenandoah River into West Virginia on the U.S. Route 340 bridge. The trail formerly crossed the Potomac River into Maryland on the U.S. 340 bridge, but now crosses the Potomac from on a railroad bridge from Harpers Ferry.
