Opened as early as 1967....flocked by settlers in the early seventies and the late settlers came in the 80's....a good place of mixed ethnicity...banjar,jawa,bugis,minang,batak,sulu,iban,champa,siamese,indian,chinese
..etc
Mostly occupied by the Malays....Palm Oil is the major crops...

Actually I was raised here...my first school...and my name still can be seen somewhere in this school of mine...teaching here for a year before going out
to further my education...
