This pilgrim centre is really spectacular to visit and presumed to be the abode of many siddhas and sadhus and rishis. Every New moon day during July, is famous and devotees throng to worship Lord Sundara Mahalingar. It is a saying that one who visits 20 times here, may have the chance of worshipping Shri Sanadana Mahalingam which is lying far away from this place.

  • I want to go on a temple tour of the Saduragiri Mahalingam temples, can someone leave detailed comments like Time, taken to reach saduragiri, places to visit near Sundaramahalingam and Chandana Mahalingam temples, protocol of where to start, logisticsvisits etc) on how to go there from Srivilliputtur. Also if one can stay at Saduragiri overnight, food, water, toilet facilities, safety of women in the night etc.

Logistics facilities available in Thaniparai& vadrap Staying in overnight is not problem,all the facilities like food,water,toilet,is available in temple.   • There is no toilet facility in Chathura giri-just open space.Foul smelling.This is not healthy.Temple can provide place to bath and toilet with water facility.This is a must in a place wild animals are supposedly prevalent.
