The Gulf Beach Motel Historic District is a collection of post World War II historic resources on Lido Key that were completed in late 1949 or 1950. Included within the boundaries of the district are what were originally three building structures, a historically associated swimming pool, historic shuffleboard courts, and the hotel's original detached street signal. Although a tiki hut that closely resembles one of two original tiki huts that stood on the site is located where one of the original huts stood, its original buildings materials have been completely replaced.
