The old entrance was a road between a strip mall and the Mount Vernon Memorial Cemetary. At one point, the screen was clearly visible from the parking lot of Sunrise Baptist Church, but some extra trees were eventually planted to block the view.

The back of the screen could be seen while driving along Fair Oaks Blvd. It was always covered with graffiti tags. At one point, the graffiti was completely painted over, but it wasn't long before the entire back was covered with tags again. Eventually, the screen was torn down, (although it can still be seen on this satellite image,) and the Sunrise Drive-In was no more.

There is also a peculiar property just south of the Drive-In that can be seen along Fair Oaks Blvd, that has chickens.
